What We Collect

Dragon Dice collects the bare minimum needed for the game to work. On our servers we store: the display name you type yourself (we recommend a nickname, not a real name); an anonymous session ID generated automatically (no email, password, or phone number); the contents of your current game (dice rolls, chosen categories, final score). On your device, the browser's localStorage holds your settings, statistics and achievement progress β€” that data is never sent to our servers. We also collect anonymised technical events with our own analytics (button taps, time-in-game, errors) with no personal identifiers attached β€” they are written to our own server and go nowhere else. The age a player picks on first run is kept on their device only and is never sent to our servers; analytics receives just a coarse age bracket (5–8, 9–12, 13–15, 16+). Your IP address is used only briefly for spam protection and is not stored in the database.

How We Use Your Data

All collected data is used solely to operate the game β€” connect players in a room, display scores, restore the game after a network drop. These events help us understand which steps confuse or block players so we can improve them. We do not profile players, and we do not share personal data with advertisers.

How Long We Keep Data

Game rooms are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours after the match ends. Anonymous sessions are purged 7 days after the last activity. Detailed analytics events are kept for at most 60 days and then deleted automatically; only daily summaries remain, with no link to an individual player. Local data (localStorage) lives only until you clear your browser data or tap "Reset" in Settings.

Third Parties (Data Processors)

The game runs on our own server at the Russian hosting provider Timeweb Cloud, and the data is stored in Russia. Analytics is ours too and lives on the same server β€” we use no third-party analytics services. No data is shared with advertising networks, marketing platforms, or data brokers.

Age Policy and Minors

Dragon Dice is made for **children aged 8 and up** and their families; players of any age are welcome. On first run the game asks once for the player’s age β€” it is stored on the device only, and its purpose is to apply the right protections to that player. For players **under 13** we switch those protections on: ad requests are tagged as child-directed, so only contextual ads are served β€” no behavioural targeting and no remarketing. For minors in the EU (GDPR-K, under 16) and in Russia (FZ-152, under 18), use of the game presumes parental or legal-guardian consent; since we do not collect real name, date of birth, or contact details, that consent is expressed by the fact that the child plays with parental knowledge.

Users' and Parents' Rights

You (or a parent/legal guardian of a minor) have the right to: know which data we hold about your session; request deletion of that data; withdraw consent to processing; lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (the FTC in the US, your national Data Protection Authority in the EU, or Roskomnadzor in Russia). To exercise any right, email support@dragonfamily.pro with the display name used and the approximate game date. We will respond within 30 days.
